One of Florida’s most prominent law firms is adding more lawyers to handle bankruptcy litigation out of its Boca Raton offices.
GrayRobinson announced this month it’s adding five lawyers to the Bankruptcy Section of the firm. The team of lawyers has a combined 40 years of experience in the field and includes Robert C. Furr, Alan R. Crane, Jason S. Rigoli, Alvin S. Goldstein and Jonathan T. Crane.
“We continue to see demand for sophisticated bankruptcy and creditors’ rights counsel, and the addition of this veteran team strengthens and expands our ability to effectively serve our clients throughout Florida and beyond,” said GrayRobinson President and CEO Dean Cannon. “We are excited to welcome Robert, Alan, Jason, Alvin, and Jonathan to GrayRobinson.”
Furr is a member of the U.S. Trustee Program in the Southern District of Florida and has also served as a mediator in adversarial business disputes.
Crane has had business owners as his clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He’s also handled business reorganization litigation in his three decades of practice.
Rigoli has centered his practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He’s handled cases involving financial distress and insolvency while specializing in protecting assets and recoveries.
Goldstein’s practice has involved representing debtors and individuals in reorganizations. He also has a background in finance and evaluates the economics affecting a business or individuals, analyzes capital structures and provides counsel on restructuring.
Crane has represented consumers and businesses in bankruptcy cases and has provided counsel in corporate restructuring.
“The addition of this seasoned group of practitioners not only bolsters our Bankruptcy Section bench, but also adds the expertise to file debtor-side cases and enhances our fiduciary practice, while building on relationships this group has developed over decades of practice in Florida,” said GrayRobinson Bankruptcy Section Chair and Miami Managing Shareholder Steven J. Solomon. “We welcome them to our Bankruptcy Section as we continue to expand the services we provide in the bankruptcy and insolvency arena.”
GrayRobinson has about 300 staff members in 16 offices throughout Florida and in Washington, D.C.
